Hospitality at Hotel Kapil
We started with a vision of providing clean and hygienic accommodation to tourists visiting Shimla. Ever since then, we have been offering exceptional services and safe stays to all weary travellers.
We are located in the heart of the town at just a 6-minute walk form Lakkar Bazaar and about a 15-minute walk from the Mall Road. The property overlooks a beautiful valley and offers a peaceful stay in Shimla.
Apart from that, we thoroughly clean and disinfect every room after each check-out and before every check-in for complete safety. Moreover, our entire staff is also vaccinated.

Public Areas & Pets
We don't have any elevators or large public areas in the building. We do have a small book shelf with some popular novels and books. We're sorry but we do not allow pets in the hotel at the moment.
In-Room Facilities
The balcony is only available in the penthouse and the rooms are not centrally heated. However we do provide complimentary electric blankets during the winters & a heat convector for Rs. 300/- day.
Dining
There is only in-room dining in the hotel as there is no dedicated restaurant or cafe. Our chefs prepare delicious meals everyday and we also offer à la carte menu for a scrumptious treat. Kitchen is functional from 7:30 AM till 10 PM
Electricity Backup
We do not have a complete electricity back-up. However, we do have invertor operated lights that work well in case of a power cut. But, the power cuts in Shimla are quite rare and brief; so there's not much to worry.
Laundry
We do not have an in-house laundry service in the hotel. However there is an independent laundry house right next door that provides good service. But we do not take responsibility of any kind regarding the same.
Car Parking
We have a parking space for 2 cars infront of the hotel & a space for 9 cars near the hotel at a mere distance of about 50 meters. We recommend choosing taxis for local commute to avoid traffic congestion in the hills.
Public Areas & Pets
We don't have any elevators or large public areas in the building. We do have a small book shelf with some popular novels and books. We're sorry but we do not allow pets in the hotel at the moment.
